Welcome Desi and Kelsey!

Northwest Housing Alternatives is pleased to welcome two new staff members to our roster!

Desi Bellamy, NHA’s newest Housing Developer

Desi Bellamy recently joined us as a Housing Developer at NHA. Desi’s prior professional experience has comprised over 15 years of nonprofit community work promoting healthy communities with a special focus on affordable housing for five of those years. Her introduction to housing was through Oregon Opportunity Network (now named Housing Oregon) working in areas of affordable housing policy, training, and communications. Here she developed ties to affordable housing practitioners in Oregon, worked on rural housing initiatives, and key housing policy campaigns in the state of Oregon.

More recently, Desi worked on the acquisitions team at Enterprise Community Partners working directly on approximately eighteen affordable housing projects nationwide. These multifamily LIHTC projects included new construction, historic rehab, scattered site rehab, and mixed use developments located in rural and high density urban settings. She is currently a candidate for the Masters of Real Estate Development at Portland State University.

Kelsey Allrich, NHA’s newest Resident Service Coordinator

In the Resident Services department, the team has added another staff member – Kelsey Allrich. Kelsey has spent the past several years working at Lines for Life as a Crisis Intervention Specialist, answering crisis calls from a wide variety of hotlines. She was looking to transition to a role where she would be able to offer more in-person, tangible support, and she’s excited to join the RS team! Kelsey is looking forward to helping link residents to the services that they request and to form relationships and connections for NHA with services in the area.

We are so pleased to have both Desi and Kelsey join the team.
