On March 12, 2025, we kicked off the start of construction of M Carter Commons, an affordable housing property for seniors in North Portland. The property, which is being co-developed by Northwest Housing Alternatives and The Urban League of Portland, will bring 62 units of affordable housing aimed at serving the Black elders in the community.
