Impact Report – Read up on our latest report

NHA’s work in affordable housing and emergency shelter has broad impact on Oregonians’ lives. Specifically, we serve over 3,500 Oregonians across 17 counties. The indirect results – such as the effect housing has on the larger community where more residents are in homes rather than on the streets – are harder to quantify than the service and provider numbers we track and measure. Therefore, we share those trackable results in the report linked below. We celebrate many successes while continuing to expand to increase our positive impact.

Some highlights from this year:

  • NHA Residents saved an estimated $24.2 million in collective rent compared to market-rate rents
  • 351 people, including 265 children, were sheltered through the Annie Ross Housing Services program
  • Resident Service Coordinators responded to 2,828 service requests and delivered 840 food boxes to residents
  • We received funding for 190 homes and started, continued, or completed construction on 157 homes in 2 counties.

If you already support NHA through donations, thank you! Your support helps make this great impact possible. We simply would not be able to help as many people in such a well-rounded way without you.

If you haven’t yet made a monetary contribution, we hope you’ll consider doing so. At the very least, subscribing to our monthly newsletter will give you updates so you can get a real sense of how important this work is.
