Help Us Settle In

The new NHA campus!

Last week, Northwest Housing Alternatives made the move back to our original campus in downtown Milwaukie. The campus includes five brand-new buildings, including three buildings of affordable housing (28 units total), a new office, and a brand new Annie Ross House Emergency Shelter.

Now that we are moved in, there is a lot to do to get settled, especially when it comes to the Annie Ross House shelter. The shelter is scheduled to open in September, and while all the furniture will be in place, we are asking for help outfitting each of the eight rooms with everything they need for families to feel at home.

Desired items include sheets, towels, and kitchen items. Unlike the previous shelter, the new Annie Ross House includes a kitchenette and private bathroom for each room! There is also a communal kitchen and living area for families to get to know each other, eat together, and relax together if they’d like.

We appreciate all of your support, and we are excited to start this new chapter for Northwest Housing Alternatives and the Annie Ross House.
