Happy Holidays from NHA!

As 2018 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to give thanks for our community and wish you all a joyous holiday season.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve the 2,400 people living in our buildings across Oregon, as well as those who have accessed our Homeless Intervention Services. Being able to help families and individuals connect with stable, affordable housing as well as access opportunities to advance their lives is our mission and the reason why we do this work.

Of course, we wouldn’t be able to do this work without our enthusiastic supporters–all of the donors and sponsors and community members who support NHA through volunteer work, financial support, and advocacy. We cannot thank you enough.

Our office is currently overflowing with donations of coats, toys, and other gifts to distribute to our residents because of the generosity of our community. Our fundraisers this year brought in more financial support for our programs than ever before. In fact, one of our partners, Walsh Construction, just stopped by yesterday to announce they would be providing more than $18,700 in donations to NHA through their employee giving program and company match.

A big thanks to everyone who has showed up for NHA this year, whether its been by donating, becoming a sponsor, volunteering, coming to our events, liking our page on Facebook, or telling your friends about the work that we do–we couldn’t do it without you.

Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.
