WALSH Construction

Founded in 1961, Walsh Construction Co. (WALSH) aims to build smart, build green, and build community. WALSH’s focus on quality during both design and construction ensure that their projects function properly and hold up well over the long term. Their focus on green building means that WALSH buildings are better for the environment and have lower operating costs. In addition, WALSH is committed to creating a stronger community by connecting to the people and places where their work takes place.

WALSH has been an enormous partner for NHA over the years on a multitude of projects. Recently they helped NHA complete our campus project, along with O’Neill Construction Group, which included 28 units of affordable housing, a rebuilt Annie Ross House family shelter, and the brand new NHA headquarters. In fact, the affordable housing complex on NHA’s Milwaukie campus is named Walsh Commons in honor of Walsh Construction Co.

We thank WALSH Construction for their many years of partnership as well as their generous support of this year’s Home Sweet Home.

LMC Construction

Based in Tualatin, Oregon, LMC Construction is involved every step of the way from preconstruction to building turnover. They are a leader in green building, with LEED accredited professionals on staff and many employees who have worked on Earth Advantage projects. LMC Construction also partners with nonprofit affordable housing developers, like Northwest Housing Alternatives, to provide safe, dignified, and affordable places for Oregonians to live. In addition, LMC Construction was ranked #1 for residential remodels in 2012 and 2014 by the Portland Business Journal.

LMC Construction has also been a generous supporter of NHA programs and services through their sponsorships, including being a Chocolate Souffle for this year’s Home Sweet Home. We are grateful for their support and collaboration.
