During these challenging times, many of us feel a sense of helplessness and a troubling lack of control in our lives. Things we used to take for granted–going to the movies with friends, eating a meal in a restaurant, celebrating life’s milestones and celebrations with family–have become fraught with risk and worry.
But despite all the changes we’re going through, there are ways to spread joy and give back, especially to those who need it most. That’s why we’re launching a new campaign in conjunction with Nonstop Wellness called “A Way To Give Back.”
NHA serves some of the most vulnerable populations at risk of contracting, spreading, and experiencing life threatening complications from COVID-19 including seniors, low-income families, communities of color, and people with disabilities throughout the state of Oregon.
In light of the crisis, we have made quick pivots to our programs to support these Oregonians and ensure no one in our properties is evicted due to this crisis. Our costs have gone up dramatically in 2020, while our fundraising ability has significantly decreased. We need your help to be able to continue our work and to ensure the safety of those we serve.
To participate in the challenge, we’re asking businesses and individuals to make a donation to the campaign and then challenge 5 other businesses or individuals to do the same. You can find all of the details about the challenge, including what donations we’re seeking, at this link.
